SERVE OTHERS
Manito UMC has always possessed a strong call to serve others in our building, neighborhood, city, nation and around the world. Our historic building is a great resource for Alcoholics Anonymous and other 12-Step groups, with multiple weekly meetings for members seeking and maintaining sobriety. We also serve children and families through YMCA Children's Center South ECEAP, Manito Cooperative Parent Preschool, M&M Tots, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the Juvenile Diversion program.

Our church supports missionaries Nan McCurdy and Miguel Mairena, with many members working and studying alongside them in Puebla, Mexico. Additionally, Manito UMC acts as hub for United Methodist Committee on Relief, gathering disaster relief kits from around the region. Numerous congregation members have traveled to the UMCOR Depot in Salt Lake City to build kits for areas hit by natural disasters.

Manito UMC partners with local ministries, including Second Harvest Food Bank, Shalom Ministries and Family Promise of Spokane.
